Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By purchasing, downloading, or using AI Bot Tracker ("the Plugin"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Plugin is developed and sold by Crawlantix ("we", "us", "our").

2. License Grant

Upon purchase of a paid subscription, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Plugin on the number of sites permitted by your plan:

• Monitor: free, available on WordPress.org, licensed under GPL-2.0
• Protect / Optimize / Scale: 1 site per license

3. Subscription and Billing

• Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions (monthly or annual)
• Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record)
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal
• Upon cancellation, your license remains active until the end of the current billing period
• After expiry, paid features are deactivated but the free detection features continue to function

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Plugin on WordPress sites you own or manage. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Plugin or your license key
• Use the Plugin for any purpose that violates applicable law
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Pro-licensed portions of the Plugin (the GPL-licensed free code is exempt from this restriction)

5. Updates and Support

Active subscribers receive plugin updates and email support for the duration of their subscription. We do not guarantee response times but aim to respond within 2 business days.

6. AI Visibility & Third-Party API Usage

The Plugin's AI Visibility features (Optimize and Scale tiers) operate on a "bring your own key" basis. You supply your own API keys for third-party AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, and you are solely responsible for:

• All fees, charges, and usage costs billed by those providers against your keys;
• Complying with each provider's own terms of service, acceptable-use, and privacy policies;
• The accuracy and appropriateness of any output those providers return.

Crawlantix does not supply, resell, or control these third-party AI services and is not responsible for their availability, pricing, output, or data-handling practices. AI-generated output may be inaccurate or fabricated; you should independently verify it before relying on it. AI Visibility features are off by default and only transmit data when you enable them and provide your own keys.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Plugin is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Plugin, including but not limited to lost data, lost revenue, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Plugin in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall the Plugin and cease all use.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Plugin after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
